Solitaire and United Bolero Sign Baird Property Option Agreement

November 26, 2003 Solitaire Minerals Corp. ("Solitaire") is pleased to announce the signing of a formal option agreement with United Bolero Development Corp. ("Bolero") whereby Bolero can earn up to a 50% interest in Solitaire's Baird property, located at Red Lake, Ontario.

The terms of the agreement include the right of Bolero to earn up to a 50% interest in the Baird property by paying to Solitaire a total $60,000 and 150,000 shares of Bolero. In addition, Bolero must spend an aggregate of $500,000 on the South Baird Property over the next three years.

The management of Solitaire and Bolero are excited at the prospects of exploring the Baird property. The property lies south of, and adjoins, the large Claude Resources/Placer Dome property which contains the past producing Madsen, and Starratt-Olsen Mines, and is currently the subject of extensive exploration activity by Placer Dome. As called for in the agreement, a joint decision on exploration work is being formulated, and it is anticipated that a further announcement concerning a work program will be made shortly.

In other news, the Company wishes to announce that it has decided that it will not be proceeding with its' option to earn 10% interest in the Crowsnest Property in B.C. However, the Company is currently performing due diligence on other possible property acquisitions, which will be announced if and when any agreements are made.
