Solitaire Minerals Acquires Additional Red Lake PropertyFriday, November 14, 2003 November 14, 2003 - Solitaire Minerals Corp. (TSX.V - SLT) is pleased to announce the acquisition of 2 claim units totally approximately 1,000 acres in the Heyson Township in the prolific Red Lake Mining District.
The agreement with the Vendor of the property allows for the Company to earn a 100% interest in the property by making cash payments totaling $64,000 and by issuing 105,000 shares of the Company over the four year length of the agreement. The agreement is also subject to a 2% Net Smelter Royalty, one half of which may be purchased back by the company by making payment to the Vendor of $1,000,000.
The property is located approximately 3 kms northeast of Solitaire's Baird property, and lies approximately 3 kms east of the former producing Madsen mine, located on the Claude Resources / Placer Dome joint venture property. The Claude/Placer property also contains the former producing Starratt-Olsen mine and continues to be the subject of an intensive exploration and drilling program.
